Christmas 'Kusudama' Japanese Origami Bauble

By Sarah Burnett- Moore

About

Using decorative paper and thread/yarn we will use an old Japanese origami technique to make 60 petals then assemble five of the petals into a flower and then use all 12 flowers to make a Kusudama (Flower Ball).

We will then make a tassel and add it together with a loop for hanging. Traditionally these were hand-sewn but we will use PVA.

Suitable for all abilities.

Materials can be purchased from suppliers of the Beyond K&S Shopping Hub, available here: www.theknittingandstitchingshow.com/shopping-hub

Bookers will receive full joining instructions and a session materials list. Plus, there will also be details of patterns, advance preparation guides and links of where kits can be purchased if these are applicable to your session.
