Children are very welcome at The Knitting & Stitching Show and there are plenty of activities for children and students to take part in.
Learn the basics of knitting and crochet, including casting on and off and some of the simple stitches at the knitworking
Many of the workshops in the Learning Curve are suitable for children as long as they have adult supervision. The price is the same as it covers materials and tuition, but there are hundreds on offer. Places sell fast so advance booking is advisable.
Inspire the next generation of textile artists and tour our professionally curated textile galleries. You can either view the galleries at your leisure or join the organised gallery tours which will take place each day where you can join on for a Q&A with the artists.
There are baby changing facilities within the main ladies toilets.
It’s fine to bring a buggy and the show is on one level, but please be aware the show can be crowded.
To avoid the crowds the best days to visit are Fridays and Sundays.
