1. What are the show opening hours?

The Show is open from the 28th November- 1st December 2019. Opening hours are as follows:
Thursday - 10:00am - 5:30pm
Friday - 10:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday - 10:00am - 5:30pm
Sunday - 10:00am - 5:00pm

2. How do I get to the Show?

The show takes place at Harrogate International Centre, located in Harrogate. The show can be easily reached by train, tube, bus, coach or car. Click here for full details on how to get to the show

3. Does the venue have a car park?

HIC has its own underground car park with around 158 spaces. The entrance is on Springfield Avenue and is easily accessible for Entrances 1, 2 and 3. Please note this car park will not be available to visitors on Sunday 26th November. This car park does however tend to get very busy so we would advise trying one of these other car parks in Harrogate town centre.
You will also find a further 1,200 spaces at the Jubilee (Sat Nav HG1 1DJ) and Victoria (Sat Nav HG1 5LQ) car parks located in the centre of Harrogate and just a few minutes walk from HIC Yorkshire and The Royal Hall. Please note that the Jubilee car park is the nearest and most accessible to the Royal Hall and HIC Yorkshire Entrances 4 and 5.
Special parking rates may also be available for those wishing to leave their vehicle for more than one day in the HIC car park. Please call the venue on 01423 537474 for more details.

4. When will next year's Knitting & Stitching Show take place?

Next year's Knitting & Stitching Show at Harrogate Convention Centre will take place from the 26th - 29th  Nov 2020.

5. I am disabled, how do I access Harrogate International Centre and where can I park?

We use 6 halls at the Harrogate International Centre, most of which are on one level. There is a wheelchair lift to access Hall Q.

There are 150 disabled parking spaces at Harrogate International Centre allocated on a first come first served basis. There is also a drop of area for disabled visitors.

6. Can I hire a wheelchair at the Show?

If you need to hire a wheelchair or scooter, please contact one of the following companies:

7. I am accompanying somebody as a carer, do I have to purchase a ticket?

When accompanying somebody in the capacity of carer, your entry to the Show is free of charge. To request a carer ticket, get in touch via Theknittingandstitchingshow@seetickets.com with your name, order number and the reason for requesting a carer ticket.

8. Am I allowed to bring my guide dog to the Show?

Yes, guide dogs are welcome at the Show.

9. Can I bring my children to the Show?

Yes, although we do not provide any child minding or crèche facilities. If your child is under 5 their entry to the Show will be free, between the ages of 5 and 18 they will be entitled to a child ticket and after 18 they will need to purchase an adult ticket. 10. Where can I eat at the Show?

11. Is there a cloakroom at the show?

There is a cloakroom available at the show. Here you can leave coats and luggage for £2 per item.

12. Is there an ATM machine at the venue?

There is an ATM machine outside Hall M entrance to the show. The next closest ATM is in the town centre which is a couple of minutes walk.

14. Can I have a copy of the floorplan before the Show?

Unfortunately we do not have a floorplan available before the show. However, you can buy a show guide in advance. This will be posted to you one week prior to the event. Advance copies can be ordered up until midday on Friday 22nd November by calling 0844 209 7325 or clicking here. You can also purchase a show guide at the show.

15. I have booked a show guide when will I receive it?

Show guides are posted one week prior to the event. If you have not received your show guide within four days of the event please contact See Tickets, our ticketing company, on 0844 209 7325.

16. Is my ticket day specific?

Yes tickets to The Knitting & Stitching Show are day specific however if you need to change your ticket please get in touch with theknittingandstitchingshow@seetickets.com and make your request here.

Group tickets are not day specific.

17. I've bought a VIP ticket for the wrong day, what should I do?

Please email the ticketing department here or call 0844 209 7325. Ticket swaps are subject to availability.

18. Can I buy workshop tickets in advance?

Yes, workshop tickets are sold in advance both online or by calling 0844 209 7325. They are available in advance until midday on Sunday 25th November. Please follow this link for more Workshop information

Any remaining tickets will be sold at the show from the Workshop Booking Desk. Please note tickets are on a first come first served basis and are non-refundable.

19. When will I receive tickets?

If you have elected the e-ticket option you should receive it immediately after purchase. If you have opted for your ticket to be posted to you then tickets will be sent out from mid-September onwards (please allow a week for your tickets to arrive). If you have any queries regarding tickets please contact See Tickets, our ticketing company, on 0844 209 7325.

20. I have not received my tickets and the Show is in a few days, what should I do?

If you have not received your ticket you will still be able to gain access to the Show by bringing with you the booking reference number provided to you when you purchased your tickets and taking it to the Box Office as soon as you arrive at the Show.

21. I am now unable to come to the Show, can I have a refund?

We are sorry, but tickets are non-refundable.

Important Ticket Information – Covid-19

We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to The Knitting & Stitching Show in November for what promises to be a great event. That said, our number one priority is to ensure we protect the health and wellbeing of our visitors and exhibitors, and we will closely follow the government and their medical advisers’ recommendations to ensure we do this.

If the show is unable to go ahead we will issue a refund for all tickets and workshops booked via See Tickets, (if you booked through a third party please contact them directly). We won’t take risks with your safety and we will do as the Government advises.
