Visitors – can you help the Harrogate Cenotaph Poppy Appeal?

The Knitting & Stitching Show Harrogate is delighted to be supporting the Harrogate Cenotaph Poppy Appeal.  The Mayor of Harrogate District, Councillor Stuart Martin, is appealing to local crafters to donate handmade knitted, crocheted or sewn poppies for a display which will decorate the town’s cenotaph for November’s Remembrance Day commemorations.

The appeal target is 10,000 handmade poppies by 30th September.

If you are able to make poppies for the appeal, please download a pattern here or use your own design and send them to:
