Anne Kelly – Folk Tales

Anne’s background in Canada and her project work have been rooted in the natural world and influenced by folk and naïve art. In her solo gallery for Olympia, she explores the influences of this art form and historical style on her contemporary pieces, using her signature collage techniques. Many of the featured works will be shown in her forthcoming ‘Textile Folk Art’, publishing in 2018. In this exhibition ‘Folk Tales’ she presents work which although grounded in references to the natural world expresses her affinity to folk traditions and narratives. Her collaborative piece ‘Travel

Tags- Moving Memories’ looks at travel and migration.

Important Ticket Information – Covid-19

We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to The Knitting & Stitching Show in November for what promises to be a great event. That said, our number one priority is to ensure we protect the health and wellbeing of our visitors and exhibitors, and we will closely follow the government and their medical advisers’ recommendations to ensure we do this.

The show will go ahead, unless we’re advised or told to cancel or delay at the request of the UK Government, which we will then do without hesitation. If this is the case we will issue a refund for all tickets and workshops booked via See Tickets, (if you booked through a third party please contact them directly). We won’t take risks with your safety and we will do as the Government advises.
