Have Fun and Knit Fair Isle with Confidence

In this two hour workshop you will gain the confidence to knit fair isle. You will produce a fair Isle sample that will enable you to go on to knit any variety of exciting projects.
You will learn how to change wool colours in a row, using straight and circular needles, how to get the tension correct, and how to read a knitting chart plus how to use your own stash for colour-work using different makes of yarn. Monica will also cover how to sew in ends. She will show you how fair isle can be part of an item or a complete project.

Bookers will receive full joining instructions and a session materials list. Plus, there will also be details of patterns, advance preparation guides and links of where kits can be purchased if these are applicable to your session.
You will need:
- 6 colours of yarn either DK or 4ply
- 3.25mm or 4.5mm straight needles and the same size of circular needle (40cms long) if preferred
- Scissors
- Wide-eyed sewing needle
