Unfortunately, we had to make the hard decision to cancel The Knitting & Stitching Show Special Edition 2020. Take a look below for information on our social distancing and safety measures for our future events.

Social Distancing and Safety Measures

Your safety is paramount

Enjoy your day with confidence knowing we have the safety of our visitors, exhibitors and staff at our highest priority.

We plan to operate under the industry’s All Secure Standard – a comprehensive set of guidelines to keep you safe at our events and the following measures will be taken to give you peace of mind:

  • Limits to numbers of visitors and exhibitors

  • Wider aisles to accommodate social distancing between stands

  • Larger workshop rooms with limited numbers and a safe distance between each participant

  • Separate entry and exit points for both the Shopping Village and workshop hall

  • Frequent and enhanced cleaning of public areas, toilets and touch points around the venue

  • Queue management to avoid congestion

  • Face coverings will be compulsory for all while government policy requires them to be worn in shops

  • Hand sanitiser / hand washing facilities will be provided throughout the venue

  • Dedicated and comfortable seating area

  • Contactless payment will be encouraged (along with contactless ticket scanning)

  • As any guideline or regulation changes this list will be updated and the most recent details posted on the show website

K&S Special Edition Important Update

It is with much sadness that we will be cancelling The Knitting and Stitching Show Special Edition, due to take place at Alexandra Palace in October 2020.

We pride ourselves on delivering a great experience for anyone with a love of textile based crafts and although we are confident in the safety measures we have in place at the event, following the Government’s recent announcement about ‘the rule of six’, in addition to the uncertainty surrounding the Government ‘green light’ for events, we believe it is better to be decisive now.

We know this will be disappointing for all involved and we would like to thank you, our exhibitors and contributors for your ongoing support.
