There will also be a special Instagram area where an assortment of supersized bakes and cakes will be made available for you to pose with for photo opportunities.
Since the original launch ‘Kate’s Bakes’ has been exhibited at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, and at Gallery by the Harbour in Hong Kong. It received to high acclaim at both. It is a feast for the eyes and has been designed to put a huge smile on people’s faces.
Jenkins is best known around the world for her creative installations, which see her re-imagine the everyday. This can range from a tin of sardines to entire market stalls conjured from wool in knit and crochet.
This is Kate’s second time exhibiting for Kate, with her first exhibit back in 2015. In this she created an entire fish counter and shop entitled ‘Kate’s Plaice the Stitchmongers’, which received worldwide press and attention.
