Punch Needlework for Beginners

By Lucy Rowan, Peas and Needles

About

Punch needle is a type of embroidery using a hollow needle, you use this needle to punch through the fabric to create loops. It creates an effect similar to a hooked rug which makes an interesting design and texture. Lucy teaches you how to use the punch needle and create this beautiful botanical hoop art.

The class covers how to stretch your fabric and transfer the design, how to combine different yarns so you can create different effects and textures and how to finish off.
