Time for (knitted) tea! At this year’s Spring Knitting & Stitching show an all knitted and crocheted afternoon tea competition took place in partnership with Betty Blythe Vintage Tea Rooms. This year we challenged our lovely visitors to knit or crochet any item that would be found in a traditional English tea room.
We would like to thank everyone who entered the competition at the show and hope you enjoyed making your entries! The very talented crochet blogger Sarah-Jayne Fragola and our resident yarn doctor Bronagh Miskelly had a hard job judging. We are pleased to announce three well-deserved winners…
In first place is Elena Muscardini and friends for their stunning afternoon tea creation.
In second place is Susi Jones with her fun tea cosy.
In third place is Claire Chapman with this scrumptious looking birthday cake.
All of our prize winners have won the prizes below with thanks from Betty Blythe Vintage Tea Rooms:
First Prize: Victorian themed Afternoon tea for eight at Betty Blythe tea rooms.
Second Prize: Vintage Afternoon tea for six at Betty Blythe tea rooms.
Third Prize: Cream tea for four at Betty Blythe tea rooms.
The competition is being run in association with Betty Blythe Vintage Tea Rooms
