Tunisian Crochet - Basics and Beyond

By Diana Bensted, The Crochet Chai

About

Tunisian Crochet creates a distinctive woven texture. It is worked on a long hook with a stopper on the end to enable the stitches to stay on the hook. This workshop showed how to start, make Tunisian simple stitch, Tunisian knit and purl stitches, how to use these in combination for a honeycomb stitch, and how to finish off. These techniques will enable you to make the pair of mitts from the pattern provided by Diana.

This workshop is aimed at people who are interested in starting Tunisian crochet or may have tried before but would like to go further than simple stitch. Suitable for those able to hold a crochet hook and yarn and make a chain and double crochet.

Suitable for all abilities.
