The Galleries

For many of our visitors, the professionally curated Gallery exhibitions are the highlight of the show. We showcase the work of some of the leading names in textiles and the line up this year includes: Dorothy Caldwell, Tilleke Schwarz, Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn, A Timeline of Crewel Work curated by Phillipa Turnbull, The Royal School of Needlework plus many more.

Exclusive for Thursday Late Evening

With some of the leading names in textile art hosting galleries at this year’s show, we have organised a series of artist-led tours of the galleries throughout the afternoon and evening on Thursday 10th Ocotber. Visitors will have a chance to hear first hand from the artists, learning about the techniques used and what inspired their work.


Thursday Late Evening

NEW for 2013, The Knitting & Stitching Show has a special late night opening on Thursday 10th October.

With Adult, Concessions and Child day tickets valid until 7pm, it gives visitors a chance to enjoy the show at more a leisurely pace, with all stands and galleries open throughout the afternoon and evening.

Or if you can't make the morning, why not come and enjoy the show after work by buying a Thursday Late Evening ticket for just  £6.50* for entry from 3pm – 7pm.

There will also be a host of special activities to help celebrate the opening day of the event including Gallery Tours and exclusive Book signings from some of the world’s leading textile and craft authors.

*Ticket price is inadvance, £8.00 on the door.
