Meet the Maker - Hilary Jane

How did it all start?

I have always been passionate about hand stitched work and used to finish my mother’s patchwork.  In 1996, after completing my C & G in patchwork and quilting I started to teach hand stitched patchwork quilt making classes and workshops.  In 2018 Hilary Jane’s online fabric shop was set up, mainly selling Liberty cotton fabric – www.hilaryjanes.co.uk

The story behind the name…

My stitching journey took a back burner when I started to work at the local junior and senior schools.  In 2009 a new chapter in my life started and thanks to my two sons who suggested I return to my love of teaching patchwork set up Hilary Jane’s and I have never looked back………
